GASTRIC SLEEVE
The gastric sleeve is one of the most popular procedures for weight loss, it is classified within the so-called restrictive, in this procedure a cut of the gastric chamber of 70 to 80% of its capacity is made, so that when eating with small amounts the patient feels satisfied, these procedures must be evaluated in each particular case since not all patients are candidates for this procedure.
METABOLIC SURGERY

GASTRIC BYPASS
This type of mixed procedures includes a variety of alternatives for various types of obese patients and patients who have already undergone other bariatric procedures without satisfactory results, in which we have Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (American), OAGB-BAGUA (European technique), SADI`s (Duodenoileal in an anastomosis) and Duodenal Switch (duodenoileal in Y de Roux), each and every one has specific indications, therefore the importance of a thorough medical evaluation by the surgeon.
INSTRA GASTRIC BALLOON
The intragastric balloon is a temporary measure to significantly reduce weight that is contemplated in 2 situations: in patients with an indication for surgery but who, due to their obesity, present a high surgical risk; or in patients who do not require surgery in whom the change in lifestyle is not very effective.
